Created in 2015 by Verónica Fieiras, CHACO is an independent space for alternative and experimental approaches to publishing, exhibition and education. Its publishing side is focused on Latin American authors who use the image as a space for reflection, to throw uncomfortable and sharp projects into the world.
CHACO understands book making as a creative journey to walk alongside with the author, re-interpreting and adapting his work into a new expressive medium.
CHACO is also a province in Argentina and its capital is called Resistencia.
CHACO is based between Spain and Argentina.
